Composition

• Afoxolaner 11.3 mg (dogs 2–4 kg)

• Afoxolaner 28.3 mg (dogs >4–10 kg)

• Afoxolaner 68 mg (dogs >10–25 kg)

• Afoxolaner 136 mg (dogs >25–50 kg)

Target species: dogs

Indications

• Flea control (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis) for 5 weeks.

• Tick control (Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Hyalomma marginatum) for 1 month.

• Reduces risk of Dipylidium caninum infection for 30 days.

• Reduces risk of Babesia canis canis infection for 28 days.

Administration

• Oral, dose: 2.7–7 mg/kg.

• Dogs >50 kg: combine appropriate tablets.

• Monthly administration.

• Tablets must not be divided.

• Can be given directly or with food.

Safety

• Usable in breeding, pregnant, and lactating bitches.

• Reproductive males: use only under veterinary evaluation.

• Puppies <8 weeks or dogs <2 kg: consult a veterinarian.

• Contraindications: hypersensitivity to active substance or excipients.

• Very rare adverse reactions: seizures, ataxia, muscle tremors, pruritus, lethargy, anorexia, vomiting, or mild diarrhea; usually self-limiting.
